All validated users may include images in their message posts, however only those in trusted roles (members of CEBUG) may have content published immediately. Attached to each person's account is a Personal File Storage for inclusion inside messages. The amount of files that can be stored within this space is also determined by their role.
To insert an image into your post, begin by clicking on the Image icon in the toolbar. (See screen shot to left.)
This will open a pop-up window used by the editor to insert a bitmap image file (JPG, PNG, or GIF). To upload your screenshot, or use one you've uploaded previously, click on the Browse Server button. This will open another window showing your Personal File Storage area. Use the Browse button here to locate files on your system, and the Upload File button to send it to the server. Select the image you wish to include in your text, then click Add. The details for where that image is stored on the server and its size is now transferred into that first pop-up window for image files. Enter a short text description about what the image contains in the Alternative Text box. This is highly useful to those who have the display of images turned off, such as those using cell phones, etc. Make whatever other changes you may want for the display of that image to align the image to the left or right (will make text wrap around image), add some padding, etc. When done, click OK and your image is now inserted into your text.
Keep in mind your post is not actually saved until you click on the Submit button at the bottom.
